Local Bike Trails

Enjoy the city of Montpelier bike trails year round that extend from the very heart of the city to points predominantly north, south and west.

While spring, summer and fall bring a climate suitable for traditional peddling, don't miss winter Fat Biking on local trails. Don't have a Fat Bike? Local bike shops will have them in stock in late fall for purchase or rent. They are specifically engineered to handle cycling on snow and mud and are ideal for the rainy mud season so often touted at the end of winter that generally occurs in mid to late April.
